Before booking: A complimentary Meet & Greet and initial assessment will help us understand the learner’s strengths, needs, interests and goals and identify the appropriate level of support. Personalised learning through horses and nature Learning Inside Out is a personalised, ground-based equine-facilitated learning programme for children and young people who may benefit from a different approach to learning and personal development. Led by Miranda, a qualified primary teacher and Equine Facilitator, sessions combine meaningful experiences with horses, nature-based learning and thoughtfully adapted educational activities. Learners are supported at their own pace in a calm, nurturing environment where confidence, emotional wellbeing and engagement can develop alongside skills and knowledge. Depending on the learner’s needs, sessions may include: Curriculum-linked literacy, numeracy or cross-curricular learning Practical, creative and nature-based activities Caring for, observing and working alongside horses Confidence, communication and emotional-regulation support Activities shaped around individual interests and goals Reflection through an adaptable Learning Journey Journal Where agreed, professional provision may also include personalised planning, progress monitoring through our Seven Skills framework, weekly formative reports, a final summary report, liaison with families or schools and contributions to TAC/TAF or multi-agency discussions. All activities with horses and ponies are ground-based; there is no riding at New Spring Vista.
